THANK YOU

First, we want to thank those of you who were able to assist with the SSI funding crisis. You know who you are, and you have helped tremendously.

To be clear, this is not a hypothetical exercise. We have five active people in the producing program, all working hard on real productions. They are relied upon and they are mentored in the moment. They are getting valuable skills, real credit, and building their own network in the process. They are in the PUNC program because they have the chance to advance their skill set and experience while making a difference on productions which will make a difference to the world. They are not student projects, they are projects that will make an impact on an audience.

I will introduce you to the PUNC participants in the coming weeks, spotlighting them one by one. They are a diverse group with more than one common trait. They all want to affect the world positively. They all give themselves to the task of creating media that might do that. They all put words into action. They will change the world.

This coming week, FilmPod will formally announce several media projects that are already in process - they are all unusual, and one of them, like the FilmPod itself, has never been done before.

IPG / SSI - Positions Open NOW

IPG is getting much too big for the couple of us in executive to keep up with, much less expand. We are looking to fill the following positions, currently volunteer:

Deputy Director - so I can step back from some of the day to day. Time is open and can be light or very heavy, depending on the day and week. You get many industry contacts and direct communication with filmmakers and producers world-wide while advancing IPG goals and membership. You must be sophisticated about the industry, and have a wish to advance the independent producing sector.

Assistant To Director - 10 to 20 hours week doing administrative assistant to myself. Can be remote or remote and in-person. The offices are in Los Angeles.

Funding Manager - for SSI grants identification & applications - donor acquisition, networking. This position can be compensated based on revenues acquired.
