HORRORxSCIFI Opens 2025 Producers Groups

Analysis, Fun, Outreach & Industry Networking!

Producers Groups Begin!

As mentioned before, beginning in January 2025, the IPG adds Producers Groups into our set of activities! Producers Groups are run by IPG members who focus on specific genres or areas of production. Producers Groups are overseen by the IPG but are resident on the Stage And Screen Innovations website. This is to better facilitate outreach to audience and film fans, rather than to appear to be exclusive to filmmakers.

Producers Groups are informal meetings (but could have formal moments, depending on the group wishes). They will present opportunities to attend exclusive closed interviews with industry creators and producers. They will discuss the latest releases, historical influences, and have screenings of new and old releases. They will be a place to exchange anecdotes and information. They will be a place to invite fans and begin your marketing outreach.

HORRORxSCIFI is the first Producers Group, covering horror, dark fantasy, scifi and thriller genres. It will have its first online meeting in January, 2024. It is chaired SSI Artistic Director Diamond Monique Washington IPG, whose writing and directing career focuses on the dark side, including horror, dark fantasy. Diamond has an encyclopedic knowledge of the horror genre.

If you are interested in being part of the dialog and experience of HORRORxSCIFI, be sure to register to join (it’s FREE!). Likewise, if you would like to be part of, or even chair, another genre or group focusing on specific production types, join there as well! Be sure to join the SSI website at the same time to keep up with SSI initiatives.
