IPG At Cannes - Virtual Theatrical & More!

Quick May 2024 IPG Update!
1. Leigh Ariana Trifari, IPG UK/EU Executive Director Is At Cannes.
Leigh has a full schedule of meetings with production companies, producers, distributors, film funders, film commissions, and some very exclusive invite-only events to attend. I have tried to reach out directly to IPG members who have projects which could be represented and mentioned at Cannes there. However, very few got back to me. So as it stands, the following IPG projects will be represented on the ground there:
The Closing, feature film produced by Leigh Ariana Trifari
The Rabbit Hole, feature film written/directed by Diamond Monique Washtington, produced by Shadow Dragu-Mihai and Leigh Ariana Trifari.
Eartha Kitt C’est Si Bon, feature film directed by Diamond Monique Washington, produced by Shadow Dragu-Mihai and Leigh Ariana Trifari.
The Virtual Theatrical Program - currently is in early preparation for Three Gothic Doctors And Their Sons, written & directed by Joey Madia, produced by Stage & Screen Innovations and the IPG.
2. The Virtual Theatrical Program will be accepting submissions beginning May 17, 2024.
Submissions of scripts and proposals for VT production, and applications for the skills development program will be open beginning Friday May 17, 2024.
The Virtual Theatrical program is developing new and exciting dramatic narratives, which combine live performance, film, and live stream. If YOU or someone you know has an original voice and would like to know more, make sure you get details from the website on Friday May 17.
The skills development program will place aspiring and talented people into hands-on positions on movie sets, and on Virtual Theatrical productions. We will be providing training for: production assistants, production coordinators, production managers, directors, and various other technical and creative positions.
Program details, qualifications and submission forms will be active at virtualthatrical.com on May 17, 2024.
3. NEW FILM PRODUCTION WORKSHOP “IN PROCESS FILMMAKING” ANNOUNCED!
The IPG, in cooperation with Stage And Screen Innovations (formerly Tailor Living Charities), is starting an ongoing series of in-process case study seminars and workshops for filmmakers entitled In Process Filmmaking. This series will entail ten+ seminars/workshops and will include ongoing spotlights and interviews with filmmakers currently in production, as case studies.
The first production to be case studied, over the course of several months, is the first full pilot season of Age Of Prophecy, a scifi series produced by Abdur Mohammed.
In Process Filmmaking will present detailed seminars and workshops on all aspects of creating your film or series. This includes the areas of development, preproduction, casting, legal agreements, union vs nonunion issues, budgeting & scheduling, post production, planning for visual effects, and much, much more. Two unique features of this series are (a) your own film projects may be instructor and peer-group discussed, and (b) Age Of Prophecy, a project in production now, will be open for real-work examination as case study throughout the seminars.
You will be able to sign up for In Process Filmmaking starting May 17, 2024 at producersportal.com - SPOTS ARE VERY LIMITED. IPG members in good standing get substantial discounts on the seminars, as they do all services and at producersportal.com
