PUNC PRODUCTION EXPANDS
NEW PUNC productions announced and to be announced!
1. PUNC Production Expands
In our previous newsletter, we announced that the PUNC production Uncharted Freedom (UF) finished principal photography on October 30, 2025 and is now in post production.
Immediately that happened, we were approached by several parties to do PUNC productions. We have selected one, and are in negotiations on three others at the moment. So we are announcing here the first PUNC feature film: SLAYER.
2. Slayer - the first PUNC program feature.
“A weekend getaway becomes a death sentence when seven friends, already torn apart by secrets, must fight a serial killer who hunts them outside, unaware a potential victim is silently struggling to escape his own prison inside a nearby barn.”
Horror is one of the few reliable genres in film, and it crosses borders easily. Many great directors, producers and even distributors carved their industry place out through the horror genre. In fact horror, which has its own genre and format conventions from development through marketing, is a perfect lab for the Producing Unique New Creators program. We have already got several early-career producers chomping at the bit to be on this production.
SSI, as a 501(c)(3) is able to structure Slayer as a fiscal sponsor under tax rules. This means that SSI is able to give tax receipts for financial contributions that might otherwise not enjoy that, and by special arrangement, the production can still provide profit participation to investors. That’s important, as ongoing support for SSI’s program, but also for those parties who want to have a part of a film ongoing. PUNC films will stream through FilmPod and also be marketed to the global audience.
Slayer is just the first - we fully expect to make another announcement this time next week, for another genre film to be done under the auspices of PUNC.
You contribution to SSI supports the PUNC program and advances the careers of talented filmmakers. These people get the hands on, behind the scenes and professional exposure and skills they need to succeed in the film industry. Please donate to the SSI program at stagescreen.org/support-arts and if you want to be a part of Slayer or future film properties created under PUNC program supervision contact Shadow Dragu-Mihai directly.
This is YOUR industry. Take control. Empower others.
3. FilmPods Update

The FilmPod DBO structure is almost in place - we will begin distributing DBO, now structured as a membership, to public early in January, 2026. It has been a long road!
Digital Box Office is a revolutionary and proprietary process, developed by IPG members, that proves baseline audience members in advance of exhibition, even in advance of production.
In addition, we will be preparing our first open seed round for the FilmPod platform and app. Some of those reading this took advantage of the very early pre-seed round last spring. Those who did, and who want to be part of FilmPod or the productions it brings on in a larger way, contact me direct at [email protected]. NOTE that SEC rules could preclude you from being involved in a greater capacity in the near future. For the moment, the door is still open.
