Sweet Everly Opens For Crowdfund
Indie creator Larissa Elaina moves forward
The IPG and SSI work hard to encourage and facilitate new filmmakers who insist on taking control and doing the work to get their vision to screen. One of those who I have conversed with for many months is Larissa ELaina, the creator of Sweet Everly. She approached me many months ago with her original script, and to discuss how to get her project to screen while still controlling it and still owning it. Larissa’s attitude is rare among aspiring film creatives, but part of the mindset of those in the IPG. Of course, I gave her, and continue to give her, my opinion on those matters, and some pro tips on becoming a successful creator.
Today she reached out with her crowdfund campaign, which includes a video that interviews key creatives on the project. From Larissa:
“We’ve officially launched our GoFundMe campaign to support the development phase of Sweet Everly, and we’re currently at 6% of our goal. I’d truly appreciate it if you could help spread the word. Please feel free to share this with anyone in the PUNC program who might be interested in supporting our story! I've also attached the link to our trailer.”

Matthew Frazier - IPG Members Handbook Co-Editor
We intended to have the 2nd edition of the Members Handbook, updated, revised and expanded with production checklists and contract templates, available before summer 2025. However, events, projects and lack of funding took their toll, and the updated handbook is still waiting to get through the final stages.
However, IPG member Matthew Frazier has stepped in to assist in editing and formatting this new and important version of the handbook. Matthew has been an IPG member for over a year, and part of the PUNC program working on sponsorship and promotion on Uncharted Freedom. Matthew has a certificate in Independent Producing from UCLA and is continuing his studies in marketing and film. He has an extensive theater background and experience in independent film production. Matthew has been a valuable member of the PUNC producing team on Uncharted Freedom, and we welcome his contribution as editor of the upcoming new edition of the IPG Members Handbook.
