TIME FOR YOUR TAX DEDUCTION!

The end of year financial crush is fast approaching!  Get your tax deduction NOW before you are too involved in the many festivities and shopping tasks required of you from this time towards the end of year!        

We’re moving into the last quarter of the year and it’s a prime time to make good on that promise to make your tax-deductible donation to Stage And Screen Innovations.

There’s no better time than right now to support the important work of the Guild - we currently have 5 talented, motivated, visionary new producers in the PUNC program - and with our mentorship and your support, they will change the world for the better.

Among other tasks, the PUNC participants are producing and coordinating Uncharted Freedom, the ground-breaking documentary series shooting under the SSI banner right this minute. Uncharted Freedom is an important true story about two women who insist on living life on their own terms - even though their lives and freedom are at stake. We will be premiering the first episode of Uncharted Freedom late September, 2025. The PUNC program participants are already changing the world and getting invaluable experience that will help them move forward. They are fantastic individuals.

But we need support to keep this all going. Whatever you can do - please do and please do it now. You may be tired of hearing about this - but major funding sources are currently inaccessible. Still, the important work must continue.

YOU ARE INVITED TO FILMPOD!

The FilmPod platform is being designed to lead the way, with a mission to help the independent film sector dominate the global film industry - as it should! We create 90+ percent of the film titles on the planet, but receive less than 10 percent of the revenues - due in no small part to an entrenched cartel of half a dozen studios. However, the industry is undergoing a sea change. The resurgence of independent production, as an economic and cultural power, is here now. Properly encouraged, independent producers will displace major studios in profitability and market dominance. This is already happening in the video game industry - it is set to happen in the film industry as well.

Fostering that resurgence is part of the mandate of the Guild, and part of my personal mission. The FilmPod platform is being structured as we speak. Uncharted Freedom will be the first series to stream under the FilmPod banner. In summer 2026, we will premiere Dark Veil, the first feature to premiere under the FilmPod and Digital Box Office paradigm.

YOU ARE INVITED to be involved in FilmPod. We still have places for pre-seed equity holders, for accredited investors and sophisticated business people. Those openings will absolutely not last forever as our team is speaking with venture capitalists constantly and we will find the right match without a doubt. We are actively looking for superior independent titles to be granted a FilmPod. All IPG members will receive free all-access, permanent FilmPod passes, and deep discounts on other FilmPod offerings. IPG members with a finished film or series will also receive their first FilmPod channel free (we expect to charge an annual fee for a producer’s FilmPod in the neighborhood of USD$1000 once we have stabilized).

UPDATE - UNCHARTED FREEDOM

UF is a dramatic documentary journey with an incredible backstory and a message that is both inspiring and heartbreaking. I get hourly position reports and SitRep summaries twice a day. The boat is currently in the Atlantic, limping back to a former track after being pounded by very heavy seas. They have suffered failure of the mainsail, an engine fire, disastrous storms which have destroyed some of the interior of the boat and caused them to take on water… They have been denied permission twice now to land at local islands for refueling and repairs, due to one of the party being a Russian citizen - despite their lives being in danger. Because their lives are in danger, I cannot give the current position to you here or indicate the actual port(s) which will not permit them to resupply. If you have interest in assisting the series or the on-board crew, contact me direct and I can be more forthcoming. However, the call out for donations above is underscored here: the costs of doing a show like this are significant. Repairs, production costs, not to mention data transfer at $1 a gigabyte - for terabytes of footage - all are significant. We need the assistance of good people financially but more - for work of mouth, for social media and fore your interest in what Morgan and Elena have to say.
